SURVEY: What capacity does your battery pack have?

Since we've got a number of new pilots flying this year and putting their planes together for the first time (including me), I'm wondering what size battery pack (MAH and C rating) people are using.
The instruction manual calls for two packs in nicd and nimh of 6 or 8 cells and 350 or 800 mah capacity respectively.
Of course, I'm going lipo since I've got a couple of small packs.
The motor seems to draw at most 8 amps, so a minimal 20c pack would be around 400 mah according to the quick math (amps/C = size) for a 3 minute flight.
Is the math right or should I shift closer to a 1amp pack?
