Now, remember that's your 2016 (SIXTEEN!!!!) membership card......  GD&R (;-P)

AKA Frozen Finger Fun Fly....

Might just pack along the HobbyZone SuperCub kit -- doing the float kit -- fun and games getting that done, or the bigger quad (the Father's day gift) . Not going to pack along a charger so I have to go home when all the batteries are done.

Experience from the MMFC was that floats are better than skis because they will span the footprints rather than drooping down into the hole.....

Thanks to all that came out and had a blast of winter flying. I think the count was 11 or 12 that attended or observed and there was lots of flying and the occasional whoops but a good time was had by all. I only was able to remember to take pictures of one of my helicopters so here it is. I know there were lots of pictures taken so a few added here would be nice. I like this idea and when I talked to a couple of members of the Burlington club about it, they thought it was a great idea. Take care, Happy New Year, and see you at the field.

EMFSO members don't think twice about long cold winter days. They come up with events and fly their electric
powered RC aircraft. The "Last Flight of the Year" was held mid-day Saturday December 31, 2016. The weather
cooperated... somewhat. It was plus 2 degrees Celsius with snow flurries and 15 - 25  kph wind from the west.
Participants had to dress for the weather or disappear into their cars to keep warm.
