The inspiration for this workshop has roots going back thirty-five years.
In the first year after the EMFSO formed, members flew electric gliders
powered by Nickel Cadmium (NiCd) batteries and brushed DC motors.
Today, some of the same models continue to fly with modern Lithium
Polymer (LiPo) batteries and three phase brushless motors.
