Virtual Annual General Meeting 2023

All current 2023 members of Electric Model Flyers of Southern Ontario are encouraged to attend the virtual Annual General Meeting. The AGM is an important opportunity to discuss club business and to make plans for the year. Three positions for Director are open. Nominations for Director are open to members of EMFSO in good standing who are 18 years of age and older. Since the AGM will be virtual, participants will require a computer with internet connection, microphone and speaker.

Clair, in light of the e-mail from Mike Anderson on the loss of our MAAC exemption, might I suggest a new agenda item under  "New Business"?

Subtopics might be:
1) Status of Crosswinds field relative to CAR and MPPD18 (not within 3 nm of any aerodrome)
2) LPAs basic license
3) Changes to Safety Code on allowable altitude if not already handled
4) Logging and tracking of flights, registration of models, required markings and identification
5) Impacts of RPAS WILCO "Airspace > 400ft AGL Layer" -- (shows class B,C, E)
6) Is a Site Survey needed for MAAC and TC
7) Future steps and questions to be answered later

I suspect that we may have to reach out to MAAC and the RPAS WILCO people within MAAC to get further explanations.

Hello, Clair.

The church that I attend is scheduling a lunch and training/review session for our search for a new pastor on the same day.  I'm going to try to make the meeting but may be late for the EMFSO meeting depending on how things go.
