Did anyone else see this on rcgroups?  A very cool alternate use for a Formosa...

That's a great idea and classic case of kit-bashing!

Personally, the counter-rotating arrangement looks like too much work, so I'd probably stick to the Supermarine series.

Might be an interesting idea -- Schneider Cup Formosa racing.  Considering how the last two months went, there'd be no problems flying floats off of the field.
